*In most cases we don’t charge fees, as we work on commission. For smaller purchases, a small fee may be applicable, which we’ll agree with you before carrying out any work on your behalf.

I have been in the financial services industry for over 30 years, and a mortgage broker for 25 of those – so I have a great deal of experience.
In 2012, I formed Anderson Wealth Management with my wife, Hazel, and our son, Joe, and we began our family-run service, offering both expertise and personal touch.
I love helping people achieve their dream of owning their own home. Big or small, first or last, it is their castle, and I feel proud to play a part in that. One of my favourite parts of the job is the ongoing relationships with my clients. I have known some of them for the full 25 years, and I’m now arranging mortgages for their children who I met as toddlers!
Outside of work, as an ex-chef, I love everything food and I can often be found in the kitchen – which makes my wife happy too. I enjoy playing golf, pottering around in the garden, and growing my own produce. Oh, and wine!
My favourite motto is “do it now”! It really does help.
Finance Manager
I joined John in 2010 to support him with his existing cases. Two years later, we formed Anderson Wealth Management, and the company grew from there! It is fantastic to see what started as a small family business grow into a Team who are enthusiastic about what they do and what they can achieve for our clients. I now work in the background at AWM, taking care of the reporting and accounting requirements.
Like most people, I enjoy spending time with my wonderful family outside of work. I love keeping fit and I’m an avid distance runner – I have completed fourteen marathons, and I’m still running!
Marketing & Social Media Manager
I’ve recently joined AWM to manage our social media and marketing, after working in marketing for the financial services sector for 8 years. I want to help the team help more people, because I’ve seen the wonderful work they do first-hand.
I’m very creative and I love to bring that into all parts of my life, as well as my job. Outside of work I’m kept pretty busy by my house renovation! I also love films, music, cooking, fashion, and spending time with my loved ones.
Protection & Mortgage Broker, Practice Manager
I’ve been with AWM for over 8 years, initially joining to support John with his mortgage cases. I now specialise in advising our clients on their protection insurance needs, as well as managing the day-to-day running of the office and supporting the team. I’m currently studying to become a qualified mortgage adviser so I will be able to advise clients on them too!
I get satisfaction out of doing the right thing and helping others, so collaborating with a great team who genuinely put our clients first makes AWM a rewarding place to work!
Outside of work, I love spending time with my husband, our children, friends, and family, many live in Italy, so we visit as often as we can. I play netball competitively and love gardening and decorating when I can find the time.
I’m a big believer that “if you always do what you’ve always done, you’ll always have what you’ve always had”, so I’m always keen to listen, learn, and develop new skills.
Broker Support Manager
I’ve been with AWM for 4 years now, supporting the mortgage brokers on a day-to-day basis. I liaise with clients, providers, solicitors, and estate agents to make sure the mortgage process is as seamless as possible. Before joining AWM, I spent fifteen years in estate agencies, which means I can offer our clients the benefit of my experience with the buying and selling process.
Putting our clients first is the most important thing to me. I’m a perfectionist, I always try to find ways to improve the process and make the client experience better. I love working with the AWM team, we’re like an extended family.
I’m a social butterfly, a real people person, outside of work I’m always on the go with my children, friends, and family.
My favourite quote is “Little girls with dreams, become women with vision”, I think that sums me up well.
Mortgage & Protection Broker
I’ve worked at AWM for 6 years now, after three years’ experience as a Paraplanner. Since joining, I’ve continued to expand my collection of industry qualifications by completing exams in mortgage advice, equity release and protection.
I pride myself on continuous professional development, remarkable technical knowledge of products and criteria, dedicating myself to keeping up to date on the industry.
I particularly enjoy the challenge of dealing with self-employed clients – they’ve often found it hard to get a mortgage directly with a lender, or have struggled to successfully get a mortgage agreed. Usually, they just need an expert hand to find the right approach! I really enjoy researching who to apply to and finding innovative approaches to make sure each client gets the best outcome.
I enjoy a game of golf or two at the weekends and am always up for after work drinks!

I’ve been a mortgage and protection broker for 11 years now, and started working with AWM 7 years ago.
Helping people buy their home is what gets me out of bed every day. It’s amazing to see people achieving their life goals, buying their first or dream home!
Outside of work, I spend lots of time with my family, and love playing football and golf.
